The cross of Beaujolais and SH Noble Contender (the “Beau Dibs” cross) is what I’ve been trying to create for a decade. “Pride” is a Quarter-Quarter… 3/4 Arabian and 1/4 quarterhorse, with a purebred Arabian dam, and a half-arab sire, everything about the way these genetics have been crossed has been done purposely. I opted to start her as a late 2yo because she’s a big powerful gal, she will have 6 months under saddle as of spring 2026. She’s been doing great in training, she is strong, forward, athletic, and smooth. This is a prospect for very competitive and experienced endurance riders. Unfortunately, Beaujolais is not accepting frozen semen anymore, after 7 tries I have given up on AI’ing her, but luckily she will still get pregnant with live cover. So that said – this is the ONLY “Beau x Dibs” foal I will ever get. That’s unfortunate, but makes “Pride” exceptionally special. She is my pride and joy.
